another day, another beautiful house!

today i was shooting at the wonderful home of virginia armstrong, who runs the mail-order hand-printing company roddy & ginger.

beyond the unassuming exterior, i stepped into a fantasy world, one where classic sixties design, beautifully crafted ercol furniture, and wonderfully eclectic hornsey pottery patterns run free. i almost begged virginia to sell me her house on the spot!

once i got past how much i loved her home and all the accessories in it, i ventured downstairs into virginia’s studio, and spotted some truly gorgeous hand-printed tea-towels, cushions covers and framed prints. and as if that were not enough, i discovered roddy and ginger were two unbelievably adorable owls (and how much do i love owls?!?)
