invitation to the blues

i spotted this gorgeous display of navy blue bandannas over on martha stewart’s crafts department website. isn’t it fabulous?

i love the complimentary patterns on the bandannas and the way they are not quite uniform, giving the display an artisan, handcrafted feel. they also look stunning against that vivid blue wall, and i love the way the colour has been incorporated onto the skirting as well.

i’m off to rummage through my vintage silk scarves now to try and create something similar on my own wall…
