why // when i finished my 21 day cleanse last week i wanted to celebrate with a weekend brunch that was equal parts treat-like and healthy, so i adapted this wonderful recipe from 101 cookbooks and broke out my lovely new vipp brunch sets to serve fresh berries, free range eggs and planted-powered yoghurt as accompaniments.
p.s. can i just say a little word about how gorgeous these newly launched vipp ceramics are?
this hand cast porcelain brunch set consists of an ergonomically shaped bowl, “cloud”-shaped plate, bulbous coffee cup (which i used for the yoghurt) and the sweetest little egg ring. for me, the design is at once both feminine and masculine, as the soft tactility of the materials is offset with the clean lines and matte finish of the exterior. i actually used my alessi mami coffee cups last week as they were a nice complement, but i’ll definitely be adding the matching vipp espresso cups and cute little milk jug to my set soon!
