vipp vip (very important pedalbin)

it seems bizarre, even to me, that i should be lusting after a humble little pedal bin.

but these things do happen it seems, especially when the exhibit in question is a limited edition iconic vipp pedal bin designed by artist kevin lyons for my favourite über-hip french concept store, colette.

“i love to imagine my little blue monsters running wild through colette each night… dancing, playing really loud music, snacking at the water bar, reading fashion magazines. they yell and giggle in french and eat baguettes and party all night long,” muses kevin. oh, what a wonderfully whimsical notion!

the 14 litre vipp bin is available with a splash of blue monsters from january 19th, only from colette.
