i’m headed off to stockholm tomorrow for the furniture fair, and as it is my first trip to the city i’m hoping to also be able to fit in a spot of sightseeing too – do you have any good recommendations?
have any of you used luxe city guides before? i was sent a few last year but this is the first trip i’m able to take one on (they arrived a few days too late for my amsterdam trip last year!). they look gorgeous and are slim enough to fit easily in my bag while traveling and on first glance look like they have plenty to offer.
as i’m short on time during my stay and won’t have too much opportunity to explore the city beyond the fair (perhaps just a half day), it is great to have an edited list of recommendations to hand – particularly places for ta en fika – as well as handy shopping itineries that mention asplund, nordiska galleriet, svenskt tenn, and 10-gruppen; all places i want to make time to stop by!
let me know of any other fabulous places for home design, or great places to eat!

uuuh I have a couple of places I could recommend. Have to get to the gym now though but I’ll post here afterwards :)
Ok here we go.
Design shops (address):
R.O.O.M. located in PUB (Hötorget) Furniture
Illums Bolighus (Hamngatan 27) Furniture
Rum För Papper (Vallgatan 19) Paper and notebooks
Grandpa (Fridhemsgatan 43) Vintage
Go to the old part of town called (Gamla Stan) and have a coffee or hot chocolate at one of the small cosy coffee shops that are there.
thanks so much Marianne, really hope I get time to check some of these out! x
