Fabric of my Life.

a little emporium of loveliness

marie nichols is probably one of the nicest stylists i have ever assisted and one of the most inspiring to boot, so i am super excited that her eagerly awaited online store – the shop at number 57 – is finally open!

marie and her husband simon have created a little emporium of loveliness, filled the brim with quirky finds that fit one simple concept; they won’t sell anything they don’t love enough to put in their own home, number 57. i especially love the colourful giclee prints and fine bone china buttons, and am totally taken by the lost & found section of “pre-loved treasures that got lost along the way,” as well as the hunting & gathering section filled with quirky ceramics and one off-hand made items.
