Fabric of my Life.

prepare to be wu-ed

one of the stand out stores for me on amy beth cupp dragoo‘s mycity tour around soho last month was canvas homestore. i loved the chic, minimal, utilitarian feel of the products and the delightful visual merchandising in the store.

so i was excited to spot that canvas have just launched a collaboration with fashion designer jason wu; a timeless, yet glamorous collection of seating, tables, lighting and accessories. wu’s signature ladylike elegance has taken on a more masculine edge for this furniture collaboration, and i am very drawn by the sleek black lines of the spindle dining chairs and table, and the button-back upholstery with stiletto style legs. these linear forms are softened by tactile accessories in muted colour hues, creating a welcoming and serene environment.

i could just curl up in that armchair right now and lose myself for an hour or two in a good book…
