Fabric of my Life.

high street of my dreams

i’ve been aware of notonthehighstreet.com for several years, but to be honest, had never properly perused the site before – more fool me!

as someone who loves to seek out design trinkets that are unique and inspiring you would have thought notonthehighstreet.com would have been a logical first step, especially when you consider their mission statement is just that: sourcing products for people who wanted original, creative things they could find from the comfort of their own homes.

the brainchild of holly tucker and sophie cornish, who both share a passion for hunting out charming, unique and carefully made products from markets, village fairs and tucked away boutiques, notonthehighstreet.com started with 100 hand-picked small british businesses in 2006, and now offers over 50,000 products from more than 3,000 companies!

the collection has been carefully curated to provide the very best quality, innovation and style and there are some truly fantastic things that caught my eye!  i swooned over the quirky memory balloon ceiling lights by john montcrieff, and adore pretty much everything by the delectable miss cake – particularly those alice-inspired ‘eat me’/’drink me’ food picks! and that personalised twitter addict mug by name art is the perfect gift for pretty much everyone i know (myself included!)

so, head on over and have a look around, then pop back and let me know what’s tickling your fancy….
