Fabric of my Life.

down by the wharf

have you come across luxury furniture brand wharfside before?

sourcing solid wood craftsmanship from scandinavia and northern europe, they are providers of some of the finest examples of modern classic furniture built for the home, and each piece is made bespoke according to each customer’s personal requirements, allowing you to choose from a broad selection of shapes, woods and styles.

i was naturally drawn to their wonderful collection of midcentury inspired designs; the retro desk by danish retro certainly won my heart with it’s smartly concealed compartments, flush fitting drawer and recessed pen cavity, perfect for squirreling away secret letters and treasured mementoes! the sleek curved edges of this luxurious bureau are execuated by the elegant spindle legs and while i love this desk in walnut, it also comes in oak and ash, really helping to bring the design bang up to date.

other products that caught my eye were the brightly coloured forum dining chairs, which would surely double nicely as an occasional office chair, and the modular wall mounted shelving units, particularly in that luscious bright yellow!

which pieces do you love?
