Fabric of my Life.

click & grow

if, like me, most of your plants don’t survive longer than a few months weeks, then i’ve got a special little treat to share with you today – the click & grow!

click & grow is an easy-to-use electronic smartpot that grows plants without the need for constant watering and fertilising, perfect for those of us who are time-poor and severely lacking in the green fingers department!  you don’t need to have any knowledge about gardening (or keeping living things, aherm, alive), instead everything will be taken care by the smart technology inside the pot, that measures all the necessary parameters and doses an exact amount of water, fertilizer and air according to the plant’s needs. clever, huh?!

the starter kit includes an electronic smartpot fully equipped with seed plant cartridge, watering and fertilizing system, and special software that measures and provides exactly what your little greenling needs at all times. all you have to do is insert some batteries (not included),  fill up the water tank, find a reasonably sunny spot, and hey presto, instant herbs on demand!

there are a number of herb varieties on offer in the online shop, from basil, chilli pepper and mini tomato, as well as more ornamental floral offerings of french marigold and busy lizzy. before my poor little basil plant was suffocated by smoke fumes from the burning flat next door (more on that later…), i was enjoying having fresh basil leaves on hand to give my hastily-made simple pasta dishes a far more gourmet appeal.

so, which one takes your fancy? are you as bad at keeping plants alive as me?!
