Fabric of my Life.

fashion art object

one of my favourite discoveries at this year’s london design festival was fao shop, who presented their debut collection at cutting edge design show, designjunction.

fao is an online concept store, with a carefully curated selection of beautifully crafted, unusual fashion accessories, art and objects from some of  the finest independent and emerging designers from around the globe. i’ve already fallen head-over-heels for a number of the exquisite pieces in their edit, namely danielle vroemen’s hexagonal designed siks ring, ex.t’s vibrant yellow birdie shelf and jill shaddock’s coffee set for one.

with a bermondsey showroom poised to open, and several plans for pop-up shops and temporary exhibitions across the capital, it seems as if there will be no escaping their wonderous delights (…and my bank manager’s wrath!)
