Rainy Day DIY

| upcycled ikea tarva dresser, photographed by patric johansson for livet hemma |

disappointingly, it’s looking like another rainy weekend here in london. i’m going to be heading to the meet the blogger conference at the new me hotel on the strand (if you’re there, be sure to say hi!), but if you’re after a little rainy day project to keep your occupied, why not try upcycling an old piece of furniture?

i love these ombre painted coral drawers, which would be super easy to recreate in any number of colour combinations – you could keep things simple and opt for a gradual cream to latte to caramel combo, or go all out with a kaleidoscope of neon colour hues – whichever takes your fancy!
