Fabric of my Life.

a perfect bathroom, revisited

cphart bathroom challenge part 2

remember my post on cp hart’s perfect bathroom challenge a few weeks ago? well, following that post i was invited along to their flagship showroom in waterloo with the 5 other bloggers participating in the challenge, to get some feedback on our designs and  explore their cavernous showroom.

to refresh your memories, cp hart have invited a number of their favourite interior stylists and design bloggers to participate and showcase their bathroom design ideas, and the winning design will be rendered into a 3d image and included in their 2014 catalogue – how exciting!

my “dream bathroom” was inspired by the luscious yellow of my blog, but my fellow designers were inspired by 1930’s hollywood glamour (dear designer), new england summers (nylon living), vintage florals (mary poppins), refined natural elements (stylist’s own) and classic elegance (a diary of lovely). it was so inspiring how we had all approached the same brief with such wildly different and creative ideas!

having toured the showroom, i found myself continually drawn back to the ispa bathroom, designed by prospero rasulo for italian brand gessi, which is exclusive to cp hart:

ispa at cphart

| 01. mirror | 02. waterfall spout | 03. mono basin mixer | 04. freestanding basin | 05. freestanding bath | 06. acapulco chair | 07. rag rug |

with the tropical heatwave we’re experiencing just now, wouldn’t you like to just duck your head under that shower? ahh, now wouldn’t that just be bliss!
