i’m loving the new autumn/winter colour palette from paper and paint craftsmen farrow & ball, who have just launched 9 new colours to 132-colour strong range. the new colours, inspired by their dorset coastline roots, work seamlessly with the existing palette while providing interesting accents, enhancing colour families and creating inspiration for new ones.
my eye was instantly drawn to the azure blue allure of st. giles blue no. 280, but i’m also finding myself partial to the more subtle grey of ammonite no. 274 – the colour of fossils on the dorset coast apparently – and the sultry tones of stiffkey blue no. 281, reminiscent of the extraordinary colour of mud at stiffkey beach in norfolk.
so my friends, which paint hue is making your heart sing this wet and blustry september morn?
