i’m channel-hopping again this weekend, headed to paris with idbus avec ma soeur.

i’ve not travelled to europe by coach since my high school german exchange trip, and was initially quite sceptical about a post-work overnight journey from london to paris. however i’m assured that idbus coaches are state-of-the-art and designed with comfort in mind: plenty of leg room, reclining seats, adjustable footrests, complimentary on-board wifi and plug sockets for charging your electrical equipment so you don’t end up in paris with a dead battery. all sounds pretty good, right?

i’m preparing for the trip by packing a snuggly jumper, comfy pair of bed socks, super-soft eye mask, my new noise-cancelling bang & olufsen headphones plus my trusty kindle (although i’m itching to upgrade to the new kindle fire hd!).
