Fabric of my Life.

shhh, it’s a secret!

noths

do you guys do a secret santa at work, or with your friends? i always find them so much fun to participate in, choosing a gift for a randomly selected colleague or friend and trying to judge it just right so that they’re left eager to say thank you to the right person but not knowing quite who their gifter is…

so, when notonthehighstreet.com got in touch asking me to participate in their secret santa gifting challenge i jumped at the chance. each blogger in the challenge was assigned 3 bloggers to buy gifts for, up to the value of £30, and once we’d chosen the perfect gifts from the website, noths got to play santa and package up the goodies to be sent out to the lucky giftees – sounds like fun, right?

it was a perfect excuse to get acquainted with some new blogs that i’d not come across before (except i can’t tell you which they were, or that would destroy the “secret” element of the challenge!) and spend time reading through them trying to gauge the likes and dislikes of the blogger in order to choose the perfect gift – fingers crossed i made the right choices!

after that, all i had to do was wait for the gifts that had been chosen for me to fall through the letterbox. it was so much fun seeing which gifts had been chosen for me, and i had some fabulous things arrive – from this beautiful compass print by clare nicholson to a cute little pair of triangle stud earrings by jessica joy, but my favourite had to be this winter stripe coffee mug by alice rebecca potter. it’s definitely a classic secret santa gift, but a good ol’ mug with a fabulous graphic print is always a winner in my book!

so friends, what would you like to receive as a secret santa gift from noths?
