i seem to have a severe case of the january blues and extreme wanderlist withdrawal following my fabulous trip to snowy helsinki last week. the dismal grey clouds and dreary london rain just isn’t cutting it for me just now…
thankfully, alpro are on hand to give me a bit of a pick-me-up. i’ve been an ambassador for the brand for the past few years and this january they are hoping to help us all beat the new year blues with their #alproam campaign, using their low calorie unsweetened almond milk to encourage us to stick to all those healthy january resolutions – which certainly fell by the wayside on last week’s bloggers trip!
they’ve tasked me with creating 7 breakfast smoothie recipe ideas using their unsweetened almond milk, and i must say whipping up this morning’s banana chai almond smoothie has certainly helped put a smile on my face as i contemplate facing the london commute on my first day back. must be the fact that there are only 26 cals in 200ml of unsweetened almond – a quarter of the calories in cows’ milk!
