there’s nothing like having a sleek modern bathroom with a giant tub and rainfall shower to encourage a bit of relaxation at the end of the day. sadly, very few of us have the space (or the budget!) for such luxury, and my tiny bathroom in my rented victorian mansion flat is sorely lacking in a bathtub one is capable of lying in, or the correct water pressure to induce tropical wanderlust (london drizzle is about all it can muster…)
so we make do in any way we can, and my solution to enhancing my bathing experience is to add as many considered colour pops and quality bath products as possible. i’ve just pimped my bathroom with some gorgeous new towels from urbanara‘s kotra collection – a cotton & linen waffle design that has a soft crinkly finish – and accessorised with thick cotton terry towels in lush rainforest green. my go-to “me-time” products recently have been vanilla & honey bath bubbles and an orange & geranium salt scrub, and i like to fill the room with the sweet figgy scent of serax no.7 fragrance.
what are your bathtime go-to’s to help you unwind and relax?

Oh my lord! Those Urbanara towels are exquisite! So rarely do I see a set of towels to get excited about (ours are still a hotch-potch of old, tattered things) and they desperately need an update. Can you tell I don’t spend much time in our bathroom? ;)
haha! they really are lovely Tiff; thinner than normal towels so perfect for summer, but super absorbent.
Love it, isn’t it amazing what small changes can do. Bathrooms are really hard to tackle without major work. My bathroom is tiny, so like you, adding new towels and products is about all I can do to freshen the look. I would love a bathroom thats large enough to have a free standing bath and maybe a chair to relax in. Another instant transformation can be adding a mirror or new lighting!
I’m a Kiehls gal too Kate! Really into the look of that L:A Bruket scrub though (just me or reminiscent of &otherstories toiletries?)
