Pocket the difference

happy new year, lovelies! there really is nothing like clearing everything out and having a good old reorganise to help beat the back to work blues, is there?

i’ve been itching to put up my new string pocket shelves from pink apple designs, so it was great to find some downtime during the festive break to get them assembled on the wall and then play around with the display. they’ve certainly helped me few up some surface space on my desk (although i don’t hold out too much hope of that lasting too long..) and it’s lovely to be able to display a few of my favourite souvenirs from my travels over the past few years – including my cute little coffee cup from story hotels in stockholm, graphic skyline plate bought in johannesburg and an ‘OMG’ greetings card by garance doré that i bought on my most recent trip to new york, which brings back many memories of all the laughter and fun i had there with will & ari.

i’ve got a hectic january planned already, with home london next weekend and then trips to both zurich and newcastle with clients over the coming weeks, before heading to paris for maison & objet at the end of the month! i hope you’ve all got exciting plans for the first month of the year and that you’ve not been too hard on yourself with resolutions – mine is simply to live in the moment and be open to every opportunity. oh, and setting my weekday alarm for 6am instead of 7…
