have you come across butterfly twists ballet pumps before? i hadn’t, and as a girl who lives her life in pursuit of comfortable flats it certainly has been a revelation to discover this chic, affordable line that is set to revolutionise my wardrobe!
the idea was conceived by four london-based (male!) entrepreneurs who identified a gap in the market for a neat, versatile ballet pump design that was easy to fold up and slip into a handbag or suitcase. from the original humble ballet pump the collection has since expanded into elegant slippers, chic pointed flats and durable boots that are perfect for festival season. the designs are highly affordable and cater for all kinds of aesthetic from classic elegance through to quirky humour, meaning there is something for everyone in the range. and what’s more, every design features a super comfy memory foam insole that promises maximum comfort throughout the day, no matter how many errands you have to run.
i had the pleasure of seeing the new range unveiled at their press breakfast at ham yard hotel yesterday morning, and swooned over the dreamy palette of buttery tans, ballerina pinks and creamy whites shot through with stylish masculine shapes. comfortable, lightweight and compact, i particularly loved the soft smoking slipper silhouette of the gabriella tan dalmation pony skin pumps – which are now grazing my feet as i type! – as well as the functional windsor rain boots which are simply perfect in black/lime.
i’m also a huge fan of the campaign imagery shot by blogger and photographer extraordinaire shini park who has captured the anytime, anywhere ethos in a series of beautifully crafted insights into a stylish modern woman’s busy lifestyle.
which designs are catching your eyes, friends?
