ever since i received my daniel wellington saint andrews rose gold watch last christmas i have worn it non-stop. there was a time when i had a watch for every day of the week, but this one has proven so classic and versatile it is second nature to me now to strap it on my wrist every morning.
so when daniel wellington got in touch again this year offering me another timepiece from their fantastic collection i jumped at the chance, knowing how reliable and hard-wearing they are. last year i had opted for the chic, practical ‘wear with everything’ choice, so this time i decided to be a tad more adventurous and, with my trip to the sunny shores of fuerteventura on the horizon, went for the quirky nautical stripes of the classic glasgow lady. those of you who follow my style musings board on pinterest will know that my signature outfit is basically just denim+stripes 247, and given that the only time i took it off my wrist while i was in the canaries was to snorkel (which seemed pretty sensible), it’s safe to say this new model will be vying with my saint andrews on a regular basis!
and now for the good bit: daniel wellington have kindly offered you guys a wonderful 15% off if you order anything from the dw website – just pop in the code ‘fabricofmylife‘ at checkout to claim your discount before 15 january 2016.
this post is in collaboration with daniel wellington. all opinions my own. photography by the lovely talented shiny thoughts. shot on location at suite hotel atlantis fuerteventura, with thanks to thomas cook airlines.

Love that! I’ve not worn a watch in years, but I think they always looks sooo nice. Why don’t I have one of these?? Enjoy your new stripes! :)
Thanks Karen! Can really recommend DW if you get a hankering for a new watch now – perhaps a good thing to pop on your Xmas list? xx
What a stunning watch! I love it’s nautical style – navy blue and gold has always been such a perfect combination in my eyes. Those photos are making me desperate for a little sunshine as well ;) xx
Nothing better than a little bit of a sunshine break when its dark and wet in Blighty Kimberly! If you can bear it, keep an eye out for the rest of my Fuerteventura posts on the blog soon… xx
