A year in travel

travelreview2015

it’s a cliché to talk about how fast the year has flown by i know, but it really does feel like just yesterday i was lying drunken on the floor last new years eve with my bestie singing tinie tempah’s pass out (how apt) and here we are again – no, not drunk on the floor (yet) – but another nye later…

it’s been a whirlwind of a year but one that is chock-full of memories. from my inaugural visit to the middle east to my first-ever attempts negotiating the ski slopes, a return to morocco (and discovery of my perfect destination for a summer escape) and a memorable weekend away sans baggage, 2015 has had it all.

i had the pleasure of visiting copenhagen over the summer as part of the #danishdesigntour with fritz hansen, dinesen and royal copenhagen, learnt all about the quality of scotch beef and lamb on a fab blogging trip north of the border, and recently explored the beauty of fuerteventura with thomas cook airlines, all the while making a whole host of wonderful friends along the way!

so, here’s a huge shout-out to a few of the lovely bloggers i’ve traveled with in 2015 who’ve made the year so. much. fun: lucie, laurie, niamhmillie, kit, kim, rachel, kristabel, sarah-lou, lisette, lucy, igor, sarah, jantine & vivian, gerard, sophie, laila, dannii, yaya & lloyd (& apologies, i will definitely have forgotten a few in this list!)

i can’t wait to see what adventures 2016 has in store – happy new year everyone :)

kate, xoxo
