i’m loving the new pieces and collection styling from menu this season, which debuted at northmodern in copenhagen a few weeks ago. the collection is contemporary, elegant and sophisticated with a retro seventies vibe, and i love the material mix of brass, steel, granite and black marble in the range.
“the spring/summer 2016 collection from menu celebrates the inherent elegance of natural materials from the gorgeous imperfections of wood and leather to shiny surfaces of metals, that unveil their beauty over time as they patinize,” says menu’s creative director jonas bjerre-poulsen. “the warmth of natural materials and earthy tones come in a variety of finishes, species and applications in the collection that create an atmosphere of timeless and understated elegance.”
i’m particularly enamoured with the clean silhouette of the godot sofa by iskos-berlin and the trio of side tables designed by stockholm-based duo afteroom, which are inspired by the utility-comes-first principle of the bauhaus movement. the black concrete willmann vase by hanne willmann is also a total stunner…

Beautiful collection. I love the dark moody photography too, very stylish.
These material mix of brass, steel, granite and black marble are awesome in the upper pictures. These things can be used to give the last decoration of the interior to make it more perfect.
