i generally live in my trainers 99% of the time, so it really makes no sense that i’ve only really had one pair on the go for the past year – my beloved ash virgin hi-tops. it should come as no surprise then that it was last week, when i was away in manchester in all the rain and the snow (yes, hello april!), that i should finally go through the soles of them and batter them beyond repair!
darting down the street on tip-toes, trying desperately to avoid the giant puddles on the pavements, became something of a comedy act yesterday, so i’ve spent this morning online looking to find my next sneakers sole-mate. i’m definitely hankering after a white pair for the summer months, that can be dressed up or down as the mood takes me..
