Daniel Wellington Classic Sheffield Watch 001

what are your daily style essentials?

i’m definitely someone who is wedded to a few key statement pieces and am rarely seen wearing anything else. my trusty jawbone and my gold chain bracelet are essentially a part of me as i never take them off, but every time i leave the house i also pop on my coiled gold band ring, strap on my daniel wellington watch and grab my iphone – 1, 2, 3. i notice instantly if i’ve left the house without following this routine; my wrist, ring finger and palm feel naked outdoors without these daily essentials in tow!

for me there’s definitely something reassuring and comforting about having just a few go-to style essentials, and it certainly makes the early morning dilemma of what to wear a little easier! every now and then i try adding a new piece to the mix but it rarely sticks.. although i have recently switched my watch strap from brown leather to black as i’ve found my wardrobe becoming more and more monochrome over the past year.

i’d certainly recommend dw watches if you’re looking to add a new style statement to your morning routine and am delighted that daniel wellington are offering my readers 15% off their watches from now until 31 may – just enter the code FABRICOFMYLIFE15 at the checkout to claim your discount.

  1. That’s lovely. I have a white ice watch I had for years practical when the kids were yourng and messy but now they are older I think I need a more grown up watch!

  2. I know what you mean about sticking to a few trusty essentials. I’m the same. But I could be persuaded to add that DW watch to my daily ritual too :-)

  3. Lovely post. I am a minimalist when it comes to jewellery. I wear the same three rings and bracelet which are never taken off ! So my essentials are easy. My eldest son on the other hand, has a collection of watches to rival any store !

  4. Ooh I’m quite the opposite and love to mix up my jewellery every day. Same watch and wedding ring etc, but usually something different on my other fingers, wrist and neck each day.

  5. It’s the classics that stick, and this looks like a lovely timeless piece. For me, I keep it very simple and only wear one ring which I never take off, I’m very boring when it comes to jewellery or accessories! X

  6. I have the same routine. Phone, wallet, key. The wearing a watch habit is gone since my phone have this app. Maybe is time to start wearing one, I do feel naked wrist.

  7. I’m the same as you, kate, and always stick to the same jewellery and accessories. Love that watch – such a classic x

  8. yep I’m the same always stick to the same jewellery pieces but then occasionally I do like to add a few extra bits here and there! Love the DW watch! x
