one of my favourite stands at this year’s ad show was that of soho-based designers bddw, a small furniture company dedicated to the creation of well-crafted timeless designs and heirloom quality solid wood furniture. craftsmanship is the company’s buzzword, and all of bddw’s textured wood objects are locally-sourced and hand-made in their philadelphia studio. they also carry a wonderful collection of hand-knotted tibetan rugs, leather framed mirrors and handmade records players in their downtown showroom, creating a visually inspiring space
