A dog’s day out.

One of the things I’ve come to love most about Manchester is just how dog friendly a city it is! I noticed it long before little Paco came into our lives. The number of small dogs nestled at the feet of their owners in accomodating coffee shops, riding the tram, or taking a stroll along New Islington Marina on their way to the dog park. As a city with more and more pet-friendly apartments (and hotels!) popping up all around,

North is Now.

I’m delighted to finally share a project I’ve been working on for the past 6 months with you all! When Yvonne from TYRO (studios) first slid into my Instagram DM’s with a series of voice notes I was intrigued.. not least of all because I’m someone who hates receiving voice notes, haha. But I overcame my aversion and, as I listened to them one-by-one (because yes, there was a whole series!), I became more and more excited because what Yvonne was

We’re all in this together.

I know times are tough just now and a lot of people are anxious and worried for their own livelihoods – myself included. But even in these uncertain times, it’s been heartening to see so many people ask how they can help support those around them.  I’ve seen a few of my favourite bloggers share really informative and practical posts, such as Cate St Hill’s tips for working from home, Abi Dare’s how to make the most of your leisure

This list comprises all the physical bricks-and-mortar stores that I love in the borough, with a list of further local designer/makers you can shop from online coming soon…. Moth If there were ever

Nordic musings.

I first met Jenny Maxwell, founder of minimalist contemporary jewellery brand Nordic Muse, when she was manning her stall at a monthly Northern Quarter Maker’s Market last year. I was immediately drawn in by her stylish designs; all clean-lined, contemporary and decidedly Nordic. I bought a couple of pieces – a pair of earrings and a long necklace with a circular disc – and have pretty much worn them every day since then!   So I was delighted to discover

Welcome inside.

I’m baaack! Apologies for the (not entirely planned) extended hiatus. I’ll explain more shortly, but I wanted to start back with exciting news from one of my favourite London interior design destinations, as it’s been all change over in Tufnell Park lately!   Well, that’s not entirely true. The store still has a defined focus on relaxed modern interiors and lifestyles, bringing together the best designers and makers in the world to curate an approachable but design-led edit of must-have
